Hope Lutheran Church - Topeka KS

Who We Are

Hope Lutheran Church is a member congregation of the Lutheran Church–Missouri Synod, a confessional church body of some 6,100 congregations and 2.6 million people. Hope has been a part of the larger Topeka community since 1948. Located in Highland Park, southeast Topeka, it is our mission to share Christ.

We preach and teach the absolute truth that Jesus Christ, the Son of God, died and rose to establish a relationship with God for every person who ever lived or ever will live. By His death and resurrection, we have forgiveness of sin and new life. This Gospel of Jesus Christ is the unchanging truth for a fast-changing world.

This truth is the basis for the hope we have. This hope is not "iffy" in the sense that "I hope it doesn't rain." The hope we have in Jesus Christ is the solid conviction that He keeps His promises. When He promises to forgive our sins, we take Him at His word. When He promises to give us new life, we trust Him to do so. When He promises to come back one day and take us to be where He is, we wait and watch for Him secure in the hope that He will return.

Feeling hopeless? Contact us. Better yet, come and visit us. We're not perfect, but our hope for forgiveness and life rests in One who is, One who has given us His precious gifts. We'd consider it a privilege to share Him with you.

Feeling hopeful? Contact us. Better yet, come and visit us. We'd enjoy getting to know you and sharing the hope we both have in Jesus Christ, our crucified and risen Savior.
